Hi Jana,

A huge thanks to you and your team for all your support and work in the build-up to and during our wedding. We were delighted with how it all went and our guests are still talking about what an amazing location AnnaCarriga is.

I'd imagine that this was one of the more challenging wedding days of the season given the weather conditions, but once everyone was settled at the ceremony it really didn't have a negative impact on our day. We were really pleased that it was dry and bright on day 2 and so we got to party on the beach until the early hours.

Thanks again for everything and I hope you all enjoy a well earned break at the end of the manic wedding season.

Your staff were ALL brilliant - amazing cocktails from Enrico (I think) who made sure I had a nice drink in hand at all times, and Jenny was great- very friendly and organised keeping me on track the day before and after!

I'm sorry I can't remember everyone's names but all the servers and staff on the day were super too.

People are still complimenting the location and service.

  We had our wedding here in May and we are still getting compliments on the venue over 6 months later!! It was the first venue we viewed and the last as we fell in love with the place as soon as we drove in the gates!! We knew we didn’t want a hotel reception, we wanted to get married outside and we really wanted something a bit different and that is certainly what we got!! The stunning views of the lake, the well kept grounds and the fact that all of your friends and family could stay on site in the beautiful cottages were a big selling points for us!! From day one Jana was so helpful and went out of her way to accommodate all of our requests, the day went so smoothly and that was all thanks to Jana and her amazing team!! If you are looking for something a little bit different then we would highly recommend viewing this venue, we have no doubt you will fall in love with it like we did!

Peter and I would like to officially thank you all at  AnnaCarriga for the amazing job you did for our wedding… From start to finish all your team were complete professionals to deal with making our experience a total pleasure.   The chef did a wonderful job and the food was second to none, all team was so helpful and did an amazing job organising everything in AnnaCarriga the day before and also on the day itself.  Lastly dealing with you personally made all the organising and planning so much easier, you were a pleasure to contact and always on hand, personally we could not have asked for more from you.  

We recently had our ceremony and reception in AnnaCarriga. We honestly can't recommend it highly enough. The setting is so picturesque - on clear days it is idyllic and on 'bad' days there is a raw beauty that is unexpected. In terms of planning, support up to and on the day (and beyond) Jana is wonderful, she is so helpful and supportive, and willing to accommodate any ideas. She also has a genuine interest in you having a memorable day in all ways, far from the business like and often money orientated other venues. Please do contact her, I guarantee you will not be disappointed. 

We got married at AnnaCarriga on 29 August 2015 and it was simply fantastic from start to finish. The team at AnnaCarriga were absolutely brilliant. It is a family run business and all of the staff were really professional and helpful which meant a lot especially as we were planning the entire wedding from overseas. The sun was shining on the day so we got married outdoors by the lake and had our wedding breakfast inside in the beautiful glass pavilion. Our guests stayed in the cottages on site which were superb(great value and really clean and tidy) and meant that we all had a very short stroll to the ceremony and again at the end of the night. We had a bbq the next day and kayaked/paddle boarded on the lake which certainly helped with the fuzzy heads! There is also a superb brasserie on site which serves delicious food with a French twist. As most of our guests arrived on Friday, it was great to have somewhere to eat after a long day travelling and again on Sunday when we were all exhausted from the day’s activities. It is an absolutely stunning location for a wedding or a holiday with a great support team behind it. We couldn't have picked a better venue. We will definitely be going back to celebrate our anniversary!

We got married last weekend in Annacarriga and it was nothing short of perfect. We had the use of the beautiful pavilion which was set against the beautiful backdrop of Lough Derg. The owners Jana and Jeremy were very easy to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. We booked out nearly all of the houses on site for family and friends. They were all delighted with their houses and accommodation. Some of them were couples who only stayed the weekend while others were families who stayed all week. The houses were clean, well kept and furnished to a very high standard. Furthermore they were very well equipped for self catering, going so far as to have a French press for coffee and food processors in the houses. The gardening staff kept a tight schedule and were often seen in the mornings tipping away at keeping the place looking lovely. The fresh flowers placed in the houses for us were a very nice touch. Annacarriga is a beautiful venue for a wedding and will continue to be complimented by us and our friends as a wonderfully unique setting for a wedding reception. We ate in the Brasserie a few times and found the menu to be varied and delicious. AnnaCarriga would be a fantastic base for a family touring the area with children, or for couples looking for a quiet retreat. It is ideally situated on the scenic Lough Derg, beside a water sports adventure centre and is just a few minutes drive from Killaloe.

We would just like to say thank you so much for making our special day so very special.  Everything went so well – we couldn’t have asked for more.  The setting is very picturesque and arriving by boat on the Spirit of Killaloe was a highlight for a lot of people from out of town.  The venue itself couldn’t have been better – even though it wasn’t the sunniest of days, the room itself was so bright and light filled that I think it made everyone think it was like a bright summers day.  The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable.   Overall you have an outstanding venue.  The food and service were very also outstanding and many guests commented on how excellent it was.  

We had our wedding there just over a month ago and we simply loved it! Staff were super friendly, attentive and lovely to all. The venue and food were stunning! That view is incredible! People felt like they were in another world! We were complimented so much on our wedding by our guests! Thank you so much from The Ryans!

Had our wedding here in July and would recommend 100%, we were worried about the weather but it rained on and off and was fine, loads of room in the big pavilion and stretched tent for everyone to duck in and out. Very special venue we absolutely loved it anyway! The food in the boathouse is lovely too, nice place for a family meal as swing set outside and can stroll down to the lake to feed ducks.

Special thanks to lovely waitress who served the head table, and was at breakfast the next morning, didn't get her name (Young and long dark hair). She was very 'on the ball' but sweet and kind to us and kids too. And Rico the barman was a star! Look forward to calling back on anniversaries and days out, thanks Jana x
