I stayed in the AnnaCarriga for June 2012 BH weekend as part of a group of 30 adults and children and I can not recommend it highly enough. I stayed in Marina walk house which was spacious, clean and well equipped. Some of our group stayed in the more modern carrownakilly houses and were also very impressed.There was a small playground and shallow area of the lake for paddling/swimming. The location is excellent in the scenic east Clare area which offers beautiful natural amenities sensitively exploited for biking, hiking and every imaginable water sport. It was only a short trip to Killaloe. Overall, we received a warm welcome, excellent service and good value in AnnaCarriga, my only regret was that we didn't stay longer but we will definitely be back! “Ticks all the boxes!”

Really lovely location. We took two houses side by side with our sisters family, the cousins had a ball playing tennis and skimming stones on the shore. the houses were bright clean and spacious. while you cant really walk i to Killaloe it is only a couple of minutes away in the car. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. We will be back as it has been a fantastic holiday. Adrian - August 2013 more ..
