Deceptively low key on the outside with excellent food inside. The presentation and the flavours of the food were exceptional and the waiting staff were very friendly. It couldn’t have been better. These chefs need to be guarded lest they be pinched by top restaurants. Thankyou all for a lovely evening!

Celebrated a birthday dinner with a friend at The Boat House last week and it was a sterling experience. The ambiance is welcoming and very attractive, the staff competent and friendly and the food… well, truly excellent and beautifully presented. A surprise birthday brownie served on a slate with birthday greetings written in raspberry sauce and fresh berries and cream made us rethink out usual aversion to desserts as it was absolutely delicious! Good wine list, cocktails, and price. *****

As a ‘local’ I enjoyed a superb evening meal with family at the Boathouse recently. The ambience and food made for a really enjoyable experience, in a spectacular location. Good choice of food and wines. Keep it up – we certainly be back.

A communion group of 7 mammies and 7 girls had the most relaxing afternoon in the boathouse. We all loved the experience, food and friendly staff. The food was delicious for adults and children. The staff were amazing, extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with from initial booking, calling back when they said they would and looking after us on he day. Thank you. We have all recommended the boathouse and will be back.
